This is the first game I've actually had trouble with in like. The game seems fine once it gets past that part (though I have not played, just looked at menus and things like customization options for the commander. My computer isn't state of the art, but should hardly be considered a potato. I seriously hope this isn't a sign of what's to come with this game where I have to play a slot machine just to get it to function. I didn't do anything fancy to "fix" it, just loaded it multiple times.
I have the same problem where I start the game and the first screen comes up and the spinny thing doesn't move, the loading bar doesn't fill, and eventually it says "not responding" and crashes out. however I will say i am less than thrilled. main menu loading but when i want to play campaing, tutorial, scenario. I won't refund it, as I do want to play it, and was pretty excited as you might guess from the time i spent on these forums. Reboot, reinstall, new drivers, change lang, etc. That said I don't have much time to really work on it now as I have to take my father out to the doctor and run some errands (I figured this would happen today).
I am having some troubles too, I had to load the game multiple times to get it to work.
